Larisa Martirosova

Larisa Martirosova, an associate at Duffee + Eitzen, graduated from Southern Methodist University Dedman School of Law. Larisa attended the University of Texas at Austin, receiving an undergraduate degree in Communication Studies, with honors, and also obtaining a Business Foundations Certificate, with distinction, from McCombs School of Business. In law school, Larisa was a Case Note and Comment Editor for the International Law Review and President of the Family Law Association.  Larisa’s passion for family law was sparked in high school when she had the opportunity to explore the practice of family law through her mentorship with Melinda Eitzen.

In law school, Larisa served as a Court Appointed Special Advocate (CASA) for children in foster care. Perhaps Larisa’s most practical and rewarding experience in law school was her service as a Chief Student Counsel at the VanSickle Family Law Clinic. Under the supervision of the clinic director, Larisa provided legal assistance to low-income clients in matters of family law. She was also heavily involved in the clinic’s Pro Se Help Desk, a collaborative project with the Dallas County Family Courts, where she had the opportunity to serve members of the community who were unable to afford legal assistance.
